Sheriff’s Deputies Close Sweetzer to Investigate an Apparent Death

UPDATE May 21, 2019: Sheriff’s deputies have identified the man found dead on Sweetzer Avenue as William Dietrich, 29, who was homeless. Dietrich was found dead in a vehicle. “There is no evidence of foul play at this time,” Sheriff’s Deputy Trina Schrader said. The cause of death is pending an autopsy

Sweetzer Avenue currently is closed between Norton and Fountain avenues as Sheriff’s deputies investigate an apparent death.  A resident on the scene has told WEHOville that a body appears to have been found in an SUV.

The body was discovered about 8 a.m. in the 1200 block of Sweetzer Avenue, the sheriff’s department reported. “There is no evidence of foul play at this time,” Deputy Trina Schrader said.

The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station is unable at this time to offer additional details.

how old was the victim? I’m thinking drug-related…
