West Hollywood will coordinate its PickUp free weekend nighttime shuttle and its Cityline commuter shuttle to the Metro stop at Hollywood and Highland for LA Pride weekend.
The “Pride Ride” will travel from Highland Avenue (just south of Hollywood Boulevard on the west side of the street) and along Santa Monica Boulevard from La Brea Avenue to Robertson Boulevard. On June 7, the Pride Ride will run from 1 p.m. to 3 a.m. This will provide transportation for the West Hollywood Dyke March and LA Pride opening ceremony events. Vehicles will travel westbound-only along Santa Monica Boulevard from La Brea to Robertson; due to street closures west of La Cienega Boulevard, eastbound service will begin at La Cienega Boulevard. Cityline shuttles will run to and from Hollywood and Highland from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., while the PickUp will operate on its regular schedule, from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
On Saturday, June 8, 2019, Pride Ride will run from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. along Santa Monica Boulevard between La Brea Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard at intervals of approximately 15 minutes. This will provide transportation for the free Pride on the Boulevard event and the ticketed LA Pride Festival. During these hours, Cityline vehicles will provide service around West Hollywood and to-and-from Hollywood and Highland from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The PickUp will operate from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. along Santa Monica Boulevard from La Brea Avenue west to La Cienega Boulevard. From 8 p.m. to midnight., Pride Ride’s “Hollywood Link” will use Cityline vehicles to provide a connection between Hollywood and Highland and two stops: Santa Monica Boulevard/Fairfax Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard/Crescent Heights Boulevard.
On Sunday, June 9, 2019, Pride Ride will run from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. This will provide transportation following the Pride Parade, which steps off at 10:45 a.m. from the intersection of Santa Monica and Crescent Heights boulevards and travel westbound along Santa Monica Boulevard, ending at Robertson Boulevard. Following the parade and once the streets have cleared, Pride Ride will run westbound along Santa Monica Boulevard from La Brea Avenue to La Cienega Boulevard from 5 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. for access to the festival. From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Pride Ride’s “Hollywood Link” will use Cityline vehicles to provide a connection between Hollywood and Highland and two stops: Santa Monica Boulevard/Fairfax Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard/Crescent Heights Boulevard.
