Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center has opened a new 50,000 square foot medical office building near West Hollywood on Romaine Street. Kaiser Permanente’s Hollywood Romaine medical offices house nine primary care and specialty services including family medicine, internal medicine, LGBTQ providers, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, nurse clinic, pharmacy, radiology, and laboratory. It is located on Romaine Street between Sycamore Avenue and Orange Drive, and east of La Brea Avenue
An announcement of the opening says “the facility features Kaiser Permanente’s most recent NextGen model that offers new technology with digital membership cards, self-service kiosks, appointment text notifications, mobile physician work stations, teleconsultation, and interactive waiting areas that provide education on a variety of healthy lifestyle topics.”
“With the integration of more robust technology, and a design that enhances the ability for in-depth care team collaboration, Kaiser Permanente’s Hollywood Romaine Medical Offices demonstrate how we are looking ahead to the future of practicing medicine,” said Kim Kaiser, chief administrative officer, Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. “Our care and the decisions we make are centered around the health and wellbeing of our members. Our diverse and talented teams use their clinical and nonclinical expertise to deliver quality, personalized and affordable care.”
Community VIPs, local business leaders, and elected officials joined Kaiser Permanente for the ceremonial ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new facility, which opened to members on Dec. 5.
Exclusive tours of Kaiser Permanente Hollywood Romaine were offered, providing an inside look of the facility before it opened to Kaiser Permanente members.
Kaiser Permanente was founded in 1945 and currently serves more than 12.2 million members in eight states and the District of Columbia.
Unfortunately another abrasive building to usher one into the Medical Industrial Complex albeit in Los Angeles.
Exactly: east of La Brea.
