After technical difficulties yesterday (including a delay in delivering electronic voting equipment), a spokesperson for the L.A. County Registrar’s Office says all voting centers are open today for those wanting to cast a ballot in the March 3 Presidential primary election. At some of them, however, voters will have to fill. out paper ballots until the electronic voting system is working.
As WEHOville reported on Saturday, those who went to Fiesta Hall at Plummer Park to vote found a sign stating: “This L.A. County Registrar voting location is not currently open. If you are scheduled to work/vote, please make your way to Pam (sic) Pacific Park Recreation Center, 7600 Beverly Blvd., L.A.,” which is 1.6 miles away. However, residents also complained online that the Pan Pacific location also wasn’t open.
The other option within West Hollywood is the Community Room at West Knoll Apartments, 838 N. West Knoll Drive in West Hollywood. Like all the other voting centers throughout the county, it is open to voters from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day until March 3, election day, when the voting centers are open from 7 a.m. to to 8 p.m. Anyone in Los Angeles County, no matter where you live, can vote at one of the centers. A full list of them is available online.
