DTLA Proud, the producer of the annual Pride festival in downtown Los Angeles, is soliciting input from community members about the festival.

On Tuesday it will host a DTLA Proud Festival community forum from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. John’s Cathedral, 514 W. Adams Blvd., in  Los Angeles. The venue is easily accessible by the Metro E (Expo) Line, and parking is also available on-site.

“Our community forum is a time and place where we invite the community to let their voices be heard and participate in the envisioning for our festival,” DTLA Proud said in an announcement of the event. “The community forum is open to all people and ideas.

Among the questions DTLA Proud hopes to address are:

  • What do you want to see at DTLA Proud Festival this year?
  • What does a festival for our community look like?
  • How can we be more inclusive?
  • How can we provide a better festival experience for all?

The event is free and open to the public.  However, because of limited capacity in the meeting space, those attending are asked to s RSVP in advance, which can be done online.
