West Hollywood’s 25th annual Women in Leadership Conference will honor Fran Solomon, the former deputy to City Councilmember John Heilman, at its reception and awards ceremony on March 25.
Others who will be honored are:
- Katie Brightside, creative director of the Brightside Agency
- Emiliana Guereca, president of the Women’s March Foundation and founder of Women’s March Los Angeles
- Silvia Salguero, a mental health therapist and licensed clinical social worker
- Maria Shriver, the author and healthcare advocate, who will receive a special lifetime achievement award.
The event will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at The London West Hollywood, 1020 N. San Vicente Blvd. Tickets are $25, with all proceeds benefitting the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles.

Hurrah for Fran! A bright, energetic woman who could teach many others how to enjoy life.
Congratulations to all. I especially want to congratulate Fran Solomon. When I think of Fran, her years of service, her contribution to West Hollywood and all she has and continues too do; leadership is defined with Fran in mind.
