Feeling anxious, stressed, worried, sad, bored, depressed, lonely, or frustrated during this COVID-19 pandemic?

The City of West Hollywood in collaboration with Jewish Family Services and APLA Health is hosting a 60-minute webinar to discuss resources and services to combat loneliness, isolation, and depression during COVID-19.  Those interested in participating can register online.

“During this crisis, it is critical to access important mental health information, resources, and services. If you feel lonely or scared,” says a city announcement of the event. “Remember: at the moment we may be distanced, but we are not disconnected. You’re not alone. West Hollywood is a community and we are all here for one another.”

APLA Health is an organization that, for the last 35 years, has advocated for health care equity and promote well-being for the LGBT and other underserved communities and people living with and affected by HIV. The Jewish Family Services (JFS) West Hollywood Comprehensive Services Center provides activities and social and recreational services to enhance the well-being of older adults and younger people with disabilities who are residents of the City of West Hollywood, as well as their families. It provides support, counseling, resource coordination, care management, crisis intervention, advocacy, and assistance in both Russian and English.
