COVID-19 Infections, Up By Two in WeHo, Jump by 35 in the Melrose District

As of today, the number of confirmed COVID-19 infections in West Hollywood has increased by two to a total of 188.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health today reported 1,202 new cases across the county. That brings the total to date to 57,118. The county has confirmed 60 new deaths related to COVID-19, bringing that total to 2,443.

As of today, the Health Department reports that 3,529 West Hollywood residents — almost 10% of the city’s population — have been tested.  The death count remains at four in WeHo.

As of today, there has been no increase in the 139 confirmed infections in Beverly Hills, or in Culver City, where 161 infections have been identified. The number of infections in the Hollywood neighborhood has increased by four to 285.  The number of confirmed infections in the Melrose neighborhood increased by 35 to a total of 585.
