The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has released a sketch of a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman after sneaking into her home in West Hollywood last month.
Deputies responded to the report of a burglary/sexual assault that occurred at approximately 11:40 p.m. on Jan. 20 at a residence in 8400 block of Fountain Avenue, near North Olive Drive.
The suspect entered the apartment of a 28-year-old female through an unlocked patio door. The suspect attacked the woman and a fight ensued. He overpowered her, pulled down her pants and assaulted her.
The victim screamed and fought the man as he sexually assaulted her. The victim was able to fight the suspect off by striking him, resulting in the victim breaking free.
The suspect fled the location on a black crossover/hybrid type bike with medium-sized tires.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his early 30’s, approximately 5’7” to 5’11” with short black hair and brown eyes. He had a light complexion, average built, with a possible tattoo on his right arm. The suspect was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and dark blue jeans.
