The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has arrested three people in connection to the beating death of a man on Melrose Avenue in the early morning hours on Friday.

The Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators made the three arrests on Monday according to Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The arrests were part of the on-going investigation into the beating death of victim Luis Enrique Vega, a 49-year-old Hispanic man from Long Beach.

Homicide Investigators identified three individuals involved in the murder that occurred Feb. 12 at approximately 12:26 a.m., near the corner of La Cienega Boulevard and Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.

The three individuals are identified as:

  • Neko Anthony Denson, a 23 year old Black male, originally from Maryland but staying in Los Angeles
  • Natali Adrianna Gonzalez, a 27 year old Hispanic female from Los Angeles
  • Krissie Morales, a 29 year old Hispanic female from Los Angeles

All three were arrested Monday (Feb. 15) in the afternoon near their homes and booked at East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station for murder.  They remain in custody in lieu of $2 million bail each.  They are scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday at the Los Angeles County airport courthouse.

This murder took place in the street in front of a number of on-lookers. The victim and two of the suspects (the male and one of the females) are all believed to have been at a nearby rooftop restaurant/bar. When the victim left the bar, the man and woman followed him and beat him to death.

Upon arrival at the scene, deputies found Vega’s body in the crosswalk. Witnesses reported the man and woman ran off on foot, northbound on La Cienega.
