Man allegedly attacked on Robertson/Santa Monica

At approximately midnight Saturday, the L.A. Sheriff’s Department and L.A. County Fire Department responded to a call at the intersection of Robertson Blvd. and Santa Monica Blvd.

First responders arrived to find a man bleeding from the mouth.

Bystanders stated the man was attacked.

The man was transported to a local area hospital for further evaluation. The Sheriff’s Department is handling the investigation.

The incident happened during the city’s new street closure program, Out on Robertson, meant to encourage crowds to visit the area on foot.

How can this be allegedly attacked. From the photos he was. Alleged is a sexual affair or an embezzlement something that needs a paper trail or so forth. But an attack just like drunk driving is certain. If there are cameras and witnesses and/or proof of bodily injury please stare person was attacked instead of allegedly. What was it a trip and fall that busted open his face or that he punched himself that violently. How is it alleged if someone else did it?!

So when you come back running in fear of losing your life from that “normal part of country” you won’t be able to say we didn’t warn you about your bad idea that rivals many others you’ve had in the past ❗ 🤣

I don’t blame you. After 40yrs at the border of WEHO and Hollywood, with all the parties and entertainment, both cities have become magnets for crime. Assaults, rape, vehicle theft, and the list goes on. The crime sheet on my new neighborhood two or three lines, but for WEHO and Hollywood, two sheets and just gets bigger. City of WEHO more concerned about revenue and placating club owners, and the resident are out of the picture.

There’s an old policing dictum that says ” s….t will happen, but we can control where some of it happens.” Boston has the Combat Zone, an area where a number of clubs and bars cater to those who are rougher than the usual customer. Other big cities’ police also have “containment areas”. Perhaps we can start with Robertson Blvd. in WEHO to contain some of the crime. Deputies might want to be stationed there during the Out periods.?

City Council and Sheriff’s Department – get together NOW. Robberies, shootings and physical attacks are the priority. Photo ops for ribbon cuttings are not. West Hollywood is now the destination for crooks and vandals. Th Do something now. Ohh… and Mayor, stop running for Supervisor long enough to do your job.

City council and public safety commission you need to act since fist fights and brawls and outright attacks are happening in the city streets and alley ways. It is a constant and becoming an everyday occurrence! Regardless if insults are exchanged or Heated arguments or rudeness occurs; violent attacks on people shouldn’t happen period! This is getting scary and frightening that anyone with a gripe, an offense, or bruised ego or in anyway feels affronted, insulted or disrespected or feels like robbing you can a Punch, stab, shoot at you. Everyday of the week these last 2 months since the… Read more »

It’s the lawlessness promoted by the Far Left afraid of offending criminals. Sickening to the core.
