Does this mean that as of 7/22 they will start working? They haven’t been working for quite some time. Years!

I thought City Hall was closed with employees all working remotely?

I have to wonder what the reaction would have been had the City decided to close City Hall due to a BLM demonstration? It was my understanding that the local hotel housekeepers were going to rally, not riot. It is hard to believe that a crowd of sign toting middle aged Latinas would strike terror in the hearts of City Hall management. I would love to see them do a through cleaning at City Hall. It seems like a bit of an overreach to cancel the first hybrid meeting just because the County decreed that participants in indoor gatherings should… Read more »

Steve, you know unite here’s tactics have always been outlandish. They’re very confrontational and unpredictable. I had to deal with them when they picketed the Andaz for no apparent reason. I’m am now, and always will be a huge union supporter, but these guys go way too far.

Everything is behind closed doors. Heck, even redrawing the acceptable distance boundaries for cannabis operations in West Hollywood. This just stinks of corruption. Oh, and don’t forget paying the sheriff department for hours no one was on… Read more »

I’m hard pressed to be against any union, but the tactics used by unite here are repulsive. Not to mention how crass they are at their rallies.

Not as repulsive as those mailers sent out by the Chamber of Commerce, which tried to scare seniors, by telling them social services would be taken away. Or that there would be a “tourism cap.” Their fear tactics didn’t work, this time.
