WeHo Artist-Performance Grant recipient Alula Yohanes Tzadik will perform his musical show “Giving Love, Peace, Unity and Diversity Through World Music” from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at Plummer Park.
The West Hollywood resident is a multi-talented, self-taught musician, composer, arranger, lyricist, singer and performer with over 7 seven CD’s and 10 videos. Tzadik has toured the world, performing his original songs in over 10 languages, while simultaneously accompanying on various musical instruments. On stage he uses high energy African and Latin dance to enhance his performances with unique African rhythm.
Tzadik was one of six artists to be awarded the grant this year, which provides financial support to resident performing artists and entertainers as well as provide the community the opportunity to enjoy quality, accessible arts and culture.
