WeHo marks 38th National Night Out tonight

West Hollywood residents will gather on neighborhood streets tonight in a show of unity against crime as the City of West Hollywood celebrates the 38th Anniversary of National Night Out. Events such as block parties, barbecues, live entertainment, and more will take place throughout the City.  A complete up-to-date list of events, times, and event locations is available below. 

West Hollywood Gateway Block Party

There will be a limited street closure during National Night Out; the closure will occur on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and includes the following location:

  • Poinsettia Drive will be closed to through traffic from 1119 Poinsettia Drive to 1234 Poinsettia Drive (and at Hampton on the North). 

National Night Out 2021 participants include members of the West Hollywood City Council, Neighborhood Watch Groups and Associations, the West Hollywood Gateway, the City’s Public Safety Commission and Russian Advisory Board. Events are held in coordination with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the Los Angeles County Fire Department, and City of West Hollywood officials and staff members.

I can’t imagine anyone being so bored…….that they’d attend this. If we want to reduce crime….increase funding for the police.
