A West Hollywood condo once owned by Marilyn Monroe is up for grabs — if you’ve got $2.49 million in your piggy bank.
The 2,032-square-foot bachelorette pad is located atop the Granville Towers at 1424 N. Crescent Heights Blvd, which was built in the 1930s. The two bedroom/two bathroom residence comes with floor-to-ceiling windows with incredible views of Hollywood, vaulted ceilings, steel kitchen cabinetry, a 24-hour doorman and a pool.
Monroe only lived here for less than a year. The unit was later owned by actress Portia de Rossi, who sold it for less than $1 million in 2003.

Although somehow the Granville is considered a Historic Resource, with applicable Mills Act Benefits, it has been shorn of all its original windows and other charming aspects then replaced by modern marble floors and overly modern bathrooms and kitchens. Contemporary shells in a well laid out Leland Bryant design. This particular unit is not clearly shown on the exterior photo but is a blemish on the west elevation. An owner of another LB building called it an expedient hatchet job.
Don’t care for the windows at all. And I loathe stainless steel kitchens — remind me of a forensics lab. No thanks.
You’ll have to spend your $2.5 mil somewhere else I guess
Yeah. “Decisions, decisions”! 😉
I toured a condo there for $1.5m owned by David Bowie. Great location w walkable to Starbucks next door and fitness center and cinema. This rooftop condo is cool views.
