Loni Love, Tyler Henry, Duff Goldman, and Eileen Davidson have been added to a growing list of celebrities who will join Project Angel Food CEO Richard Ayoub, and 200 volunteers and staff to deliver 2,000 traditional turkey dinners to critically ill men, women, children and their caregivers throughout Los Angeles County on Thanksgiving, November 25.
Previously announced celebrities include Melissa Rivers, Kate Flannery, Rachel Harris, Rebecca Metz, Chef Stuart O’Keefe & Amy Phillips, Juan Pablo Di Pace, Peter Porte, Lauren Tom, Sasha Ruiz, Michael Corbett, Jeffrey Drew & filmmaker Zeberiah Newman from the award-winning documentary Right to Try, Variety’s Marc Malkin, Mary-Margaret Humes, Mercedes Javid, Michael Hitchcock, Tim Bagley, Lawrence Zarian, and Gregory Zarian, along with Amazing Race winners Laura Pierson (season 26), and Will Jardell & James Wallington (season 32), and beauty entrepreneur, television personality and producer Diana Madison, and influencer Harry Jowsey. Jesse Tyler Ferguson and husband Justin Mikita will also deliver meals the week of Thanksgiving.
Delivery volunteers will do contactless, “drive-by” pick-up of the meals they will distribute to Project Angel Food clients. Meals include roasted turkey, root vegetables, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and a slice of pumpkin cheesecake. Vegetarian meals are also provided. The meal is sponsored by the Stanley and Joyce Black Family Foundation, with Glamazon (Amazon’s affinity group for the LGBT+ community), and 94.7 The Wave sponsoring the day. 94.7 The Wave will broadcast live from the Project Angel Food kitchen all morning long.
Project Angel Food strives to end food insecurity and improve health outcomes of critically ill men, women, and children in Los Angeles with Medically Tailored Meals, delivered with care and compassion. Over 2,400 clients are feed daily, this is a 54% increase from pre-pandemic numbers. Project Angel Food has delivered over one million meals to date in 2021.
