Three men wearing COVID masks were reported to have robbed a woman at gunpoint, according to law enforcement dispatch via the Citizen app. I

Police recordings note that witnesses saw the three males, one of whom was carrying an HK-417 rifle. He placed it up against the head of a female victim who was then robbed.

EDITORS NOTE: It was incorrectly reported that this incident occurred within The Troubadour. WEHOville strives for accuracy and regrets this error. Please forward any errors of fact to the writer of the article.

from what i heard, the troubabdour had two or three armed robberiesin 2021 ,including the one behind it on nemo street which is near the border of beverly hills ,this is dangerous , west hollywood is no longer a very safe place, it makes it harder for dreamers like me to even play that club, to make it, not to mention just to see a concert. It is perhaps unrealistic at this stage for anyone with a hollywood dream to come to hollywood, west hollywood due to thecrime wave. We got to not only struggle to make our dreams to… Read more »

This whole city has become a vile dump. This is what happens when you defund the police and chant against police protection.

You are correct. But the deeper meaning is you get what you vote for in this world. Just look at LA/NYC/Chicago/Detroit/Baltimore/DC/Atlanta/SF/Seattle/Portland. What do they aLL have in common? Just asking.

They are run by Democrats, the regressive party.

Sadly, most people will not cross party lines even if their lives are at stake as we see now with everyone’s lives literally at stake. So don’t feel too bad about our city turning into a cesspool of homelessness, crime and violence…we have reparations coming!

You’re absolutely right, Chris. In West Hollywood, the sky falls at least twice a day, life is nothing but turd soup, and we’re all going to die.

You’re talking about a sheriff’s department that happily posed for pictures with fascist demonstrators and protected their marches nothing was said or done to punish it. For that alone, it should have been defunded. Was it?

something is wrong with the LA county officials, allowing all this crime, hollywood is no longer a place to go for dreams ,now it is a place to learn to stay alive ! it has gotten too dangerous ,the troubadour , behind it , no way!

Like I stated earlier, this incident happened behind the facility on Nemo Street. Any side street is a haven for potential criminals to hide on and spring forth from. Be careful on any street in LA, with the no bail policy the evildoers are stalking those who aren’t paying attention or who dare walk the streets alone…

How many times have you seen “La La Land”? You do know it’s a movie, right?

The woke city council wants to divert money that could go to policing and safer streets, and instead just hand it over as “reparations” to descendants, many generations later, of people who might have been discriminated against. And these descendants may have been discriminated against 3,000 miles away from weho. And these descendants may have only lived in weho for as little as a day. Did i get anything wrong there? There are consequences for voting for some of the young lightweights on the city council, as well as for voting for the career do-nothing politicians.

And the city council is busy virtue signaling with their reparations BS! Such a joke of a city.

As a fellow Troubadour employee, I would just like it to be known that the club was closed at the time of the crime and the facts are these: a woman, from a neighboring club, was robbed at gunpoint on Nemo Street, which is behind the Troubadour, by three men. The victim called the police from near the front of the Troubadour, which added to the confusion in the initial report. The Troubadour itself is ssfe and secure during concerts. Thank you.

Mistakes happen. But I have a feeling this article was a result from the report on Citizen App. Citizen IS NOT a reliable source of news. This has been proven time and time again.

I work at the Troubadour. This did not happen inside the club. This happened on Nemo St. No one entered the club and the lady was a patron of the nightclub next door.

This is absolutely terrifying that gangs and criminals are using COVID protocols to rob you, since wearing a mask is the accepted norm in everyday life. Everyone is anonymous, there is no more identity or identifying people! No robber is going to show their identification card but they sure will show you a handgun or rifle to the face instead! The concealment is there and now we have robbers with semi-automatic and AK 47’s military and police tactical rifles/weapons robbing you and pointing it at one’s head. These are actions that international terrorists in other countries use or deploy that… Read more »
