West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation (WHCHC) has excitedly resumed in-person holiday season activities! The proud tradition continues again at all 20 affordable apartment communities, 15 of which are in West Hollywood. Throughout November and December, WHCHC resident services staff hosted Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas events.

Holiday cheer was spread throughout WHCHC’s portfolio. All activities were tailored toward each apartment community’s unique character and were at no-cost to the residents. Events included everything from delicious holiday meals and goodies, to surprise giveaways, to energetic and crowd-pleasing violin concerts, to movies and gifts for kids.

“For some, the holidays can be challenging,” said Danny Pepper, Director of Resident Services. “We bring the festive, and the fun, and work diligently to make sure there is a little something for everyone.”

Laurel Norton kicked off the season with a live and boisterous violin solo performance in the courtyard. Residents were then treated to a grab n’ go Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixin’s.

Hayworth House residents celebrated Hanukkah in style. The weather was so nice, RSCs hosted a backyard barbecue in the garden with traditional jelly donuts served. And just a few weeks later, a Christmas celebration occurred in the Community Room.

The holiday spirit was overflowing at Courtyard at La Brea. Residents showed up quite festive for their hot meal and goodie bag.
