Several drinking and dining establishments in the West Hollywood metro area that closed temporarily as the COVID Omicron variant advanced into L.A. County have re-opened, while others have announced temporary closures for a variety of reasons.
- Revolver and Stache are both back in business after closing their doors last week. Both establishments cited the rise in Omicron infections as their motivation for closing.
- Meanwhile, Kitchen24 pointed to a myriad of problems — “supply chain issues, lack of staffing, holiday requests and increasing COVID cases — that are putting the popular brunch spot on a hiatus. An announcement says it’ll be back in operation “in a few days.”
- Bossa Nova‘s Hollywood location is closed till Jan. 7 while it undergoes a renovation. The WeHo location remains open.
- The Comedy Store is closed New Year’s Day. No reason was given.
- Farm Cup Coffee announced Dec. 22 it would close following a staff member’s COVID infection. No re-opening date has been set.
- Go Get ‘Em Tiger has adjust their hours due to COVID.
- Soulmate has closed and canceled their New Year’s Eve event.
It’s heartening to see some establishments in the West Hollywood area reopening their doors after temporary closures prompted by the Omicron variant surge.
