Lt. Moulder updates WeHo on December crime stats

WeHo’s Part One crimes in December 2021 rose by 61 percent when compared to December 2020, according to Lt. Bill Moulder with the Sheriff’s Department.

Crime on the West Side was up by 168 percent, Lt. Moulder told the Public Safety Commission on Monday night.

On a happier note, he told the Commission about a heart-warming story about Deputy Martinez and Deputy Olvera, who responded to an emergency call regarding a baby choking. The deputies performed CPR techniques on the baby, which dislodged the object that was in his throat, saving and the 1-year-old boy. Both deputies will be put up for teh department’s Life-Saving Award, he said.

Hypothetically speaking, if a member or members of the Sheriff’s department were involved in a criminal conspiracy, is it safe to assume that these statistics would NOT include the crimes committed by Deputy John Doe and Detective Jane Doe? I would imagine the report would be awkward and difficult to assign to a detective. Not sure where this leaves us citizens. According to the precinct personnel, the FBI must be contacted by the citizen. Unfortunately the preceding sentence is a factual account but the feedback from the counter deputies is factually inaccurate. Please don’t take this paragraph the wrong way.… Read more »

It would be nice if they’d compare stats to December, 2019, as we were under a major lockdown in December, 2020. One would expect more crime in 2021 vs. 2020.

I thought D’Amico said it was all in our heads? Turns out perception IS reality. But lets not waste money on funds for law enforcement…instead, let’s paint the crosswalks! That a far better use of tax payer money! 🙄 VOTE. THEM. OUT.

Re “Turns out perception IS reality” Whoever promotes the meme “perception is reality” is, wittingly or unwittingly, spreading destructive self-defeating propaganda. The MISLEADING FAKE mantra of “perception is reality” is a product of a fake sick culture that has indoctrinated its “dumbed down” (therefore TRULY ignorant, therefore easy to control) people with many such manipulative slogans. You can find the proof that perception is commonly NOT reality in the article “The 2 Married Pink Elephants In The Historical Room –The Holocaustal Covid-19 Coronavirus Madness: A Sociological Perspective & Historical Assessment Of The Covid “Phenomenon”” at https://www.rolf-hefti.com/covid-19-coronavirus.html By the way, with the letters of… Read more »

Congrats and thank you to Deputies Martinez & Olvera for your life-saving efforts in saving that 1-year old child. I’m sure the mother is eternally grateful as well.
