‘Freedom Picnic’ hopes to bridge divide over vaccines and mask mandates

The WeHo Freedom Picnic invites everyone in WeHo to enjoy an afternoon of food, music and fun — regardless of where you can stand on COVID-19.

Free WeHo, the group organizing the picnic, is calling it an “integrated event.” Attendees need not be vaccinated or wearing a mask. They hope to send “a message of love in a time of fear.”

The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Thanks Brandon & Larry for allowing us to share our picnic. It was a beautiful day, joining people from across the political spectrum, the vaccinated and unvaccinated, proudly coming together in unity.

Our gathering was blessed by a rabbinical student from the LGBTQ community, featured live performances of freedom songs, and even had some local public officials in attendance.

The little kids at the park just loved it, and the live vibe was strong! Truly a blessed day.

Freedom Picnic? “Attendees need not be vaccinated or wearing a mask.” = “Freedom” to potentially get sick and die? Bon appetit!

Not a good idea. The pandemic is not over.

Shame on Brandon and Larry for promoting this nonsense. “Free Weho” is also pushing a recall of Erickson. The shameful editorial bias around here remains astounding.
