The agenda lists several topics up for discussion, all related to political campaigning. Those topics are:

  • Limitations on the city co-sponsoring with organizations that endorse candidates in city council elections
  • Limitations on campaign contributions by developers
  • Exploring a public financing system
  • Requiring campaign committees to file campaign communications

The West Hollywood City Council created the City’s Ethics Reform Task Force in 2015 to develop recommendations on campaign finance, government ethics, and lobbying. The Task Force aims to hear from community members on these topics and more to voice opinions, experiences, and suggestions. For those unable to attend the Task Force meeting, written comments may be submitted by email prior to 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 to mcrowder@weho.org. All written submissions to the Task Force will be public record.

Seats up front like…a Senate hearing or a trial? Because…I have questions…and I’d like them to be answered under oath.

These guys are lawyers. They know what a Breach of Public Trust lawsuit is. Prepare for that City Hall and the collection of political hacks running West Hollywood. Especially the dreadful SHE – Shyne, Horvath & Erickson

The area most in need of ethical reform is city hall. Second area most in need is the council. Focus on nepotism and what’s been hidden from view.
