Roseanne Barr, Jim Carrey, Louis C.K., Whoopi Goldberg, Kathy Griffin, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Pauly Shore, Sarah Silverman. The list of comedians who performed early in their careers at the Comedy Store goes on and on.
Mayor Lauren Meister and her fellow Councilmembers helped the venue mark its 50th year in business Thursday night.
The Comedy Store was opened in April 1972 by comedians Sammy Shore and Rudy De Luca.
I love comedy clubs but the cover and two drink minimum can be rough on the pocket. Luckily 2 nights a month I get laughs for free at the city council meetings.
Meister and Erickson together make one cringe. They’re about as amusing as a baby’s Dead toy. From boys Town to this.. the so-called creative City. Ugh.
Is that John Erickson standing in the center with the red T-shirt?
That is neither John Erickson nor Mayor Meister.
Yes, that’s Erickson and Meister!!!
The dude looks like an older gentleman.
Erickson, celebrating his granny’s hairdo, dyed his white/grey. He’s not wearing his trademark Oshkosh purple polish. Horvath’s boy toy is turning 37, so maybe in his self-delusion thinks he’s too young looking.
Real mature. Cutting someone’s appearance down, because you might not like their political positions.
How about an intelligent argument?
Also, how can he be a “boy toy” to Horvath? That makes no sense.
It wasn’t his hair, but the very jowly looking addition on the right side of his face. From the neck down, he looked young.
