Authorities Wednesday were looking for a man who allegedly pointed a handgun at a person in West Hollywood.

Deputies went to the 9200 block of Sunset Boulevard about 8:20 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.

The suspect was described only as a man who wore a gray sweatshirt.

People were advised to avoid the area while the search was being conducted, an effort that was continuing late Wednesday morning.

A man in a gray sweatshirt? Really? That’s it?

If that truly is the only description then the victim doesn’t want this person found.

But I don’t think it’s the only description…. It’s just the only description socially acceptable to print.

Manhunt in WeHo? I usually just use Grindr. Oh, and the gray sweatshirt description should really narrow this hunt down.
