The Los Angeles Business Federation (BizFed) announced awardees for the inaugural Business Makes LA County Work Awards also known as the Bizzys. The Bizzy’s are awarded to businesses and business groups that advocate for common sense solutions to our community’s most pressing issues. The West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce (WHCC) was selected as Nonprofit of the Year for LA County’s Supervisorial 3rd District.
BizFed recognizes the Chamber’s commitment to growing our economy and improving our quality of life. The organization represents over 220 business associations and 130 investing companies that represent over 410,000 companies with over 5 million employees from throughout the region.
“There are so many wonderful Chambers of Commerce in the 3rd District, and we are honored to be recognized for the extensive advocacy efforts that we undertook on behalf of the West Hollywood business community in 2021,” stated WHCC Chair Nick Rimedio. “We are grateful to BizFed and their continued leadership in the County of Los Angeles, and feel privileged to work side by side with such an amazing organization and the businesses they represent.”
The West Hollywood Chamber, along with other award recipients will be honored alongside you in the Third District, US Congressman Tony Cardenas, at an exclusive ceremony on Friday June 24th from 11 AM to 1:30PM at the Japanese American National Museum in Little Tokyo.

Congratulations to our West Hollywood Chamber, and CEO Genevieve Morrill for your outstanding work in service to this community!
Thank you, Yola Dore. Proud of the work we are doing to support small business.
I would second Yola. While we often take the work of our Chamber of Commerce for granted, we forget that it serves a vital function that serves the entire community. This recognition is well deserved and is an acknowledgment of the dynamic leadership of the Chamber under Genevieve Morrill. The Chamber is and will remain an important partner and foil of the City in the years to come.
