Madonna Cacciatore: The L-Project LA’s President and WFF Co-Producer.
– “It’s now more important than ever for all women to come together in a safe and powerful space. We will continue to unite for our rights and to celebrate who we are.”
About The L-Project LA:
Our Herstory: In 2013, the iconic lesbian bar in West Hollywood, The Palms, closed down for good. Spaces for LGBTQI+BIPOC women disappeared. Seeing a need for lesbians to meet outside of the LA bar scene, in 2015, we formed a multicultural non-profit 501.c3 organization to promote lesbian art and culture. We created the very first Frida Festival, an art and music festival celebrating the life and legacy of a Frida Kahlo. We’ve consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community! Our board is an all-volunteer, multicultural, and inter-generational group of LesBiQueerTI spirits with a passion for uplifting others.
Our Mission is to promote, support, and inspire LGBTQIA+BIPOC women and non-binary creatives through the arts and technology.
Thank you City Council for supporting The L Project LA and Women’s Freedom Festival. 🏳️🌈💙
Thanks WeHoVille for posting this announcement.
Men’s Freedom Day is everyday.
What about Men’s Freedom Day? That will never happen until the left wing Democrat Woke SHE – 1Shyne, Horvath & Erickson cabal are off this city council!
good grief
No one is ever going to grieve for you.
Sounds pretty cool. This is one of the few good things happening in West Hollywood these days.
Love this city! Happy Pride 😀
