Sheriff Alex Villanueva did not attend the WeHo Pride Parade on Sunday, according to Capt. Bill Moulder of the West Hollywood station.
The question arose Monday night at City Council’s meeting, and a photo circulating online claiming he was present is actually from 2019.
West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies were on hand to provide security all weekend.
What, is the SHE falling apart? Is the he leaving the SHE making it the SH as in…shut the hell up, you communist punks?

Can we talk about the way the Sheriff was harassing residents, not allowing them to drive cars onto their own property between Santa Monica and Melrose? There are cars parked on that street. The cops can’t escort cars to their destination? These doughboys are rude, bad at their jobs, and remember, they serve at the pleasure of taxpayers!!! I saw them following a black couple down the street and for what? The street isn’t closed to pedestrian traffic!
If this really happened, why didn’t you get their license plate number, and go to the station to complain? They are very friendly there. I’ve only had good experiences with the Sheriff, and I think they’d rather know about things like this. There also might be more context that you’re not aware of in these situations.

I have a suggestion for the next the City Council meeting. If one is going to comment in person, one cannot take one’s cellphone to the podium. The whole performance at the end by Ms. Italy was disrespectful and a waste of time.
Great idea. Take the time to print it out, send it to the city clerk and avoid making a public spectacle of yourself. These folks appear to be in a permanent state of outrage which serves to cancel themselves out.
I didn’t mention Chelsea Byers, who was reading from her cellphone like someone in junior high. There were some others who also seemed to be doing research while speaking, like that person who claimed to be descended from the indigenous peoples of the area. I have way more respect for those who are nervous, but feel compelled to say something. These people deserve everyone’s respect because they are there because they need to express themselves, not to seek attention.
I was talking with Captain Moulder just before the start of the parade and I did see a couple of deputies wearing the tan cowboy hats that seem to be be the new badage of loyalty to Sheriff Villlanueva, but the Sheriff was not there. But as usual, Ambrose hates to let facts interfere with her tirades at City Council.
I wonder if Ambrose and friends will take a moment to consider if these City Council tirades are effective? Instead of expressing outrage about something that didn’t even happen, they could have been out canvassing for their candidates in the election. Their reward is Villanueva and Rick Caruso in their respective runoffs.

Ambrose keeps coming into WeHo from Hollywood to tell us how to run this city. They have no interest in common ground. Isn’t the whole strategy that they disrupt things to the point where everything collapses? They think that our society is evil, and that it’s built on a foundation of slavery, so it must be destroyed. Abolishing the police is just the beginning for them. That’s why Ambrose isn’t interested in reform or compromises.

If only folks like Ambrose and her disciples realized that having such negativity coursing through their bodies and consciousness is dangerous to their personal health and debilitating to those around them. Forget being a permanent agitator and take a break to find some nurturing occupation.
