The City of West Hollywood has expressed a strong preference for the San-Vicente Fairfax alignment (in green above) that is proposed entirely underground. The West Hollywood West Residents Association has also expressed the importance that Metro be underground if the route chosen is San Vicente Blvd between Beverly and Santa Monica Blvd.

Thank you for your support and commitment to your neighborhood.

I hope they get it done, and to West Hollywood at San VIcente/SMB. To you people living in the 20th century, this is now the 21st century. We need to get the city ready for the 22nd century.

This won’t be built, rightly, or wrongly. Metro are about to get a severe haircut and this pipedream will continue to be dangled our way for a couple of years before (around 2025) they admit it’s not financially feasible.
