Chance is Hispanic, 5-feet-10 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds, with purple and pink hair and brown eyes. He also has a tattoo of an Egyptian eye inside a triangle on the top of his right foot and a tattoo with the words “Live fast, die last” on his back near his left shoulder.

Anyone with information on Chance’s whereabouts was asked to contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.

A commenter on here asked why it took 11 days before the public was notified of this missing person. OK,he went missing during the weekend where he could have gone with a friend somewhere, but he was still unaccounted for on Monday.

The sheriff department could have put out a flyer on that date. With fresh memories, someone could have recognized him and called in.I hope he is found.

Yep it’s total bureaucracy

As someone stated once before, why did it take so long to release this info? Missing 11 days before asking the public for assistance is ludicrous.

Because first there has to be an evaluation by authorities and family (if any) as to whether someone is indeed missing.

What’s the harm? I’d rather get the word out and rescind a flyer if found. It’s not like they spent thousands of man hours looking. It’s a flyer.

It’s about the family and individual’s privacy.
