So why hasnt anyone told the police person who lives in the Harland is involved?
Give a call to LA City Atty Mike Feuer. It is my understanding that a property may be eventually confiscated if the owner does nothing. It’s worth a call for the correct information.
They know who lived there. The next day after the shooting the criminals came back. Neighbors called the police and took them almost 20 minutes to arrive. Yes they came and with 4 police cars. The person living there wasn’t rushing in the slightest to get in or out of unit. Left before police arrived. He met a locksmith to get into unit and walked out with a yellow Goyard bag. This is really all so unbelievable. One police officer when we inquired said “they are criminals and that is what criminals do” The street is glad they are gone but… Read more »
So why hasnt anyone told the police that a specific person who lives in the Harland is involved?
All this inner city trash coming here is destroying our community.
Absolutely, and very obvious.
So why hasnt anyone told the police that a specific person who lives in the Harland is involved?
Police are aware.
It would have been good to have focused on this last night & CC.Moulder was there and would have needed to answer your concerns directly in public as well as Danny Rivas. Get this stuff in the public record.
This part of Keith Ave became a drive thru drug den immediately when the Harland started leasing the units that originally were slated for sale. A number of homeowners on Keith Ave., moved out of their long time homes citing safety issues and unsavory people hanging around outside 24 hours a day. Add to that the heavy constant aroma of pot that hangs in the neighborhood. Since the shooting three families have relocated (all with young children). I walk my dog down the street five times a day. There were a number of times I called the sheriff (“hanging out… Read more »
Isn’t the Harland owned by Faring? Isn’t Faring one of the coming or present Cannabis purveyors? Didn’t they say they were the “home town developer” also standing up for Historic preservation? How can they dissipate their objectives and become involved in sordid activity that eroded the very community they claim to support?
I didn’t blame the Harland, I don’t know who owns this complex. All I know is what I have written here and observed in my neighborhood. The Harland has had some great representation, especially when the units were for sale (Altman Bros. for one handed out pumpkins the first Halloween it was opened.) all I know is the place was ignored long enough to create a problemed street culture and activity.
Well, call or contact Jason Illoulian, yes get it on paper, and get him involved. At least you’ll have some kind of an answer.
Call out the B X Bs. Fan out lads..
This occurred in front of my home and is the result of The Harland’s total negligence in allowing criminals to live in the building for a long time. I hope the suspects are found and The Harland takes responsibility for allowing this to escalate for months.
All the neighbors agree.
The Harland knew occupants living in TH11 were not on lease. Clearly the occupants being out front on street 24hrs day was enough to provide security & safety to our neighborhood. The shooting started inside TH11 and told no suspects. This is a crime in itself.
