When was the last time you saw our current Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl in West Hollywood?
On Sunday, you could find Los Angeles County Supervisor candidate Bob Hertzberg meeting and greeting West Hollywood residents. As a young man, Hertzberg lived in West Hollywood and met his wife on the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Kings Road.
“West Hollywood will always be special to me,” Hertzberg said.
Hertzberg and crew were in the Gelson’s parking lot meeting and greeting residents. West Hollywood Mayor Lauren Meister then joined Bob in front of City Hall and the two went to Hamburger Mary’s and mingled with guests during the lunch hour. Meister has endorsed Hertzberg against co-City Council member Lindsey Horvath in the race for the District 3 seat on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
Hertzberg and crew then went door to door talking to residents and shaking hands.
In the June primary, Horvath came in first place with less than half the vote total. Since the June primary Hertzberg has consolidated his support and picked up the endorsements of Assemblyman Richard Bloom, as well as State Sen. Ben Allen. Mayor Lauren Meister and the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce political action committee have also endorsed Hertzberg.
Bob Hertzberg is GREAT! Clearly the one we need. Good riddance to what’s-her-name.
In Lindsey Horvath’s latest campaign message she claims Bob Hertzberg “is the mess in LA County” he claims to desire to clean up. Typical statement after the “Holier than Thou” message she issues regarding Nury Martinez. Ms. Horvath is always ‘Holier than Thou” riding on the shoulders of others.
Although Horvath is advocating the resignation of all the Councilmembers involved, she never has focused on what she has done to disrupt West Hollywood in such a disingenuous manner while attempting to step to a higher position. No backbone, No ethics.
It will be so delicious when Horvath loses to Hertzberg in her own backyard. But then again..it’s her own doing. She sold us out for her own raw political ambitions. We’ll be rid of her and the county will miss getting dragged down by her flawed policies. Win. Win.
Perhaps residents of West Hollywood could endeavor to get the Board of Supervisors an opportunity to cancel their endorsement of Lindsey Horvath. An email could start the ball rolling reviewing her misstatements and failures here in Weho.
He’s got my vote…..Electing Hertzberg is a step forward to reforming the worst Board of Supervisors in LA County history.
Hertzberg has had my vote from day one.
How sweet is this?
Indeed. I’ll be voting for Bob Hertzberg. Simply the best choice.
Normal salt of the earth people. Both getting my vote.
A breath of fresh air.
