In the latest batch Duran picked up 56 votes, and Robert Oliver picked up 50 votes. The total number of votes cast is now 11996 ballots.

As of 5pm friday. John Duran has 2431 votes and Robert Oliver had 2353 votes. 78 votes separate the two.
Mayor Lauren Meister is in first place with 4070 votes. John Heilman is in second place with a total of 2708 votes. The top three spots will be elected to the city council.
The battle for the third seat is tight. On the first posting of results John Duran had more than a 200 vote lead.
Oliver picked up 249 votes today, and 256 yesterday.
Duran picked up 178 votes today compared to yesterday’s 166.
Voters were allowed to pick up to 3 candidates per ballot. In 2019 the average votes cast per ballot was 2.2
According to PDI there were 9926 ballots cast with 23469 votes. That equals 2.364 ballots per voter. If projecting a 2.4 votes per ballots that would leave 147 ballots remaining.
In addition there is the undervote. The undervote are ballots that are cast but signatures could not be verified.
Oliver should be disqualified for mis-representing himself as blue collar and under stating his worth. He’s a lair. How appropriate that Weho would just replacement Horvath with Oliver. Lying sacks of sh*t the both of them. When will Weho residents wake up?
Question for author: How are you determining how many ballots remain to be counted when we don’t yet know, and won’t until November 15th, how many total ballots were cast? (mail in ballots postmarked by on/by election day (11/8 and received within 7 days of the election (11/15) will be counted. PDI is only able to provide you with total number of ballots sent out and total number of ballots received to date – there may be ballots arriving over next three days)
I think it would be fantastic if, after receiving almost $100,000 in donations from unite here local 11 and from big corporations and developers, that Robert Oliver would lose!! It would show that our city council seats are not for sale to the highest bidder!
While I am obviously not a Robert Oliver fan, are you saying that Unite 11 money is somehow more tainted than money from the Chamber of Commerce and developers?
Why on god’s green artificial turf would people in West Hollywood want Duran again. This man cost the city’s insurer’s $600,000 and no doubt raised it’s related insurance legal fees FOREVER.
You are correct, however Robert Oliver is an actual danger to the very survival of people and the city. John Duran is just overly horny, and we all need to pay for that. Millionaire hypocrite and landlord Robert Olivers’ thoughts and ideas could get people killed and could destroy our very way of life. He’s dangerous cause he’s like Lindsey Horvath, but with slightly more brains. There were better more reasonable choices, like Steve Martin and some of the others, but this is the result of a brain-dead voting base in the city.
Yes, I’ll take John Duran any day over Oliver. Oliver is a stool pigeon of the union and just more of the Shyne and Erickson model…last thing we need is another one of those. We’ve seen what they’ve done to this city in just two short years. Let’s hope Duran prevails.
