According to TMZ Sports, Willie McGinest, a former NFL star, has been charged with two felonies related to his involvement in a beatdown at Delilah in West Hollywood in December.

The charges include one count of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of assault causing great bodily injury. If convicted, he could face up to four years in prison for each charge. McGinest’s arraignment has been scheduled for April.

Video footage showed McGinest and several others attacking a man at the posh WeHo nightspot. McGinest can be seen hitting the man in the face and smashing a bottle into his head. McGinest later apologized for his actions, calling them a “lapse in judgment and behavior.” McGinest was suspended from his role as an NFL Network analyst after the incident and has not returned to the position.

“lapse in judgment and behavior,” yea right, just like all the other bipoc elites wanting a pass after showing their true colors. And the progressives will give him a pass saying he had an abused childhood or CTE from playing football.

I would not go to a WeHo nightclub nowadays if they had a seance and resurrected The Beatles and held a concert there.

When I have a “lapse of behavior and judgment” it usually means I honk at someone for cutting me off or forget to re-rack my weights at the gym…if this is the best excuse he can come up with then he needs a new lawyer and a new publicist STAT.

Yeah. Slapping someone upside the head is not something I or anyone I know would ever consider doing during a “lapse of judgement”

All these clubs and bars need to have social workers and psychiatrists on duty to prevent these events from escalating.

West Hollywood seems to be providing a permanent door mat and engraved invitation for these folks. Not very sophisticated at all.
