Get rid of the straight bars. This is Boys Town. Not Sepit Town. The Abby is a death trap. Wait for the first shooting or murder. Block by Block will be headed to the hills led by there convicted murder leader. Again, who’s getting the BBB kick back on the corrupt city council or city hall for this jackass organization? As far as those dreadful scooter companies, I bet Erickson is getting the kick back

This never would’ve happened if The Abbey had just stayed a gay bar. It is a false equivalency to say that if we expect straight bars to welcome LGBT people, then the gay bars have to be open arms with the tyranny of the majority of straight people, bachelorette parties, and predatory straight men invading the space and making it like everywhere else. This business of “everyone is welcome” in order to increase profits and expand the scale of alcohol sales does not enhance LGBT safe spaces, it obliterates them.
