The information about Councilmember Byers’ appointments is incorrect. Jesse Harris was appointed to Transportation and Mark Edwards was appointed to Planning by CM Byers.

Thank you for the follow up. Mr. Harris didn’t appear to have any Planning capabilities. Do we know anything about Mark Edwards?

Taking a comprehensive look at the boards and commissions one could easily discern that for the most part, these are designed to keep the residents occupied and operating under the belief that they serve an actual purpose in crafting and delivering better policy. In actuality it keeps the city council members at an additional arms length in formulating and delivering clear policy and action.

Knowledge, clarity, accuracy and timeliness are the name of success in any venture. Many richly rewarded staff members apparently do not believe in these values consequently progress is slow and the results are dissipated.

Sepi has even more distain for the people of West Hollywood than Lindsay Horvath did. Here is Lindsay, at her best, acting concerned about something, with some sort of muzzle, so we don’t have to hear what she has to say.

She imagines the likes and comments piling up, and hopes that the perfect photo she is creating of herself will be enough to inspire her adoring fans. Inside, her mind desperately races through the lines she’s rehearsed before. ‘Be strong, be inspiring, show them that you don’t need to have a family to be content’, she thinks as she poses, projecting a picture of happy independence. Yet in the… Read more »

She was making an entrance in Washington D.C., schmoozing her way upstream.

Based on Jesse Harris’s appearance at CC last evening his appointment is questionable. He neither properly introduced himself nor was particularly coherent. One never gets a second chance to make a first impression.

It’s nice to see some new names on this list. Sad to see a number of names that were merely shuffled around.
