If I’m not mistaken a lot (if not all) of this legislation prohibits children from being exposed to adult topics of discussion or making body altering decisions before they have reached maturity. To say that it is anti-trans or anti-gay is a stretch. I wish these people were just as fired up and concerned about the poor education our children are getting in LA County. About half of them can’t read and write at grade level.

One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.
Time for folks to take a refresher on Plato. I did this afternoon after reading a confounding NYT article on the likelihood of Trumps myriad charges, trials, appeals, convictions, pardons etc.
True, but sadly we no longer teach the classics and develop critical thinking through the study of them. Our educational system has been hijacked by programs of indoctrination rather than the development of minds. To illustrate my point, watch the angry vitriol of the indoctrinated that will follow.

True progress cannot be achieved by creating problems where none exist. Bloated civil society groups must focus on addressing real issues rather than seeking relevance through manufactured concerns.
