I thought I was seeing things driving W on SM blvd Friday! A Ferris Wheel what clown brought this. Did we ask, insist on Ferris Wheel as so important to close the street on Friday. Are you kidding clowns in City Hall
So, it’s Friday afternoon. I finish work at 3 from home. Knowing this weekend was going to be busy, ran 1 errand. My usual commute from Melrose and West Knoll to Trader Joe’s is 7 minutes. Today, it was ONE HOUR AND 15 minutes!!!!! A total of 3 miles due to detours. Who thought that closing off West Hollywood on a Friday was a good idea? Can’t go north. Can’t go west. Can’t go anywhere. I cannot imagine what the populace that commutes through our village (WE ARE NOT A CITY) to get home from a week of work must… Read more »
Move to the suburbs if you are so unhappy.
Oh and… HAPPY PRIDE!! xoxo
Perhaps you might be happy with an incompetent city council that brought us all this silliness and disruption however most are not. It’s irresponsible yet you crave being respected. Defies logic.
Why do you live here? Move. So many places you can go where people share your views. And… HAPPY PRIDE!!! xoxo
Happy Pride, Louise! 🌈
Love seeing everyone enjoying themselves in this amazing weather.
Most home owners aren’t celebrating this weekend.
Thanks for persisting with the silliness and expecting the world to adjust to your peculiar behavior.
The majority shouldn’t move.
Dearest Louise,
California has burdened the regular citizen enough. An answer as yours is that one of a 14 year old with no life experience. Climate change?? Idling vehicles along SMB, Sunset for hours is environmentally smart especially within a small town that strives for solutions to replacing ICE vehicles with bikes and scooters. Move to the suburbs? Seriously? That’s the best retort?
They don’t care about you. The CC just focuses on one small (yet noisy) demo.
On a positive note……the rest of LA will be completely normal this weekend. Enjoy!
Gay men are the majority population of Weho! Looking through the “green eyes” propaganda you would think it’s all a hunky dory under SEB Shine, Erickson & Byers. It’s not. West Hollywood is dangerous and corrupt. And those three politicians, the SEB, are probably the most despised in California.
Do you like the Simpsons?
LOL
Majority?? Not even close.
Yea head clowns brought the Ferris Wheel to SM blvd like brain dead zombies
Wow, that forgettable Pride lineup certainly isn’t diverse by any stretch of the imagination. We live in Los Angeles and this is the best they could get for a major event for gay people?
Time to party and have fun! And all the bigots supposedly “leave town”
WIN-WIN!
Sane people love when people like you use the word “bigot” because it’s hilarious and shows the level of intelligence that exists in your brain. Seriously, “bigot” is a badge of honor because it shows that the person who’s receiving that lame insult is actually the normal one in the conversation.
Some rely on tired cliches, pith, and snark. Dismissing someone as a bigot is a lazy way out of engaging.
Yeah I should really engage with people who hate gay people. /s
That’s another lazy way out. Just say that someone who chooses to leave town on a loud party weekend is ipso facto a hater. It’s quaint how you pick and choose words in longer sentences to attack and seeming fail to comprehend bigger sentence structures.
Save some money for rent.
