Sepi Shyne broken promise to Flores Park residents

“The Shine is off the Rose,” said Tom Wright, one of the founders of the Flores Park movement.

“At this time in 2020, Sepi Shyne was campaigning for her love of the WeHo community for all the right causes. One was the Flores Community Park. Our Flores Park had 1600 WeHo residents signed up who wanted a community park. Ms. Shyne attached herself to our community park efforts; she was doing campaign videos with support statements about the need for a community park in WeHo.”

After the election, I asked her, “What can you do for the 1600 residents that expected the Flores Community Park?” and her answer was, “Nothing, it’s a done deal.” She used us as a stepping stone to Washington DC and the WeHo community to become Mayor. Voter Fraud.

Ron Emmons was the founder of the Flores Park movement. Ron owns the property adjacent to the park. Pursuant to the California Solar Rights Act (CA Civil Code 714), he prohibits a property owner from allowing trees or shrubs to shade an existing solar energy system installed on a neighboring property. The new developments are also blocking his satellite dish. Emmons could not be reached for comment, but a neighbor spoke to his extensive research, including a $750,000 permit fee paid to the City of West Hollywood. “Money Talks,” “WeHo sold out,” said one member of the Flores Park movement.

“Flores Park’s 1600 West Hollywood residents were asked to vote for her because we believed in her promise to help,” said one neighbor. “The fiduciary obligation of any elected city council members is to guard and protect their residents.” Flores People’s Park, 1600 signed up for the park, STOP pandering to developers before profits. Shyne would plant seeds in the garden along with John Erickson; both harvested votes with the Flores Park people.

“On bended knee, Shyne touched the Flores Garden ground, planting in symbol only. She gleaned thousands of votes by this act of attrition. She was planting the seeds of deceit,” said one of the park advocates.

Lisa Beach, who lives next door to the development that took the place of Flores Park, pointed out that the plantings had finally attracted the Monarch Butterflies, and the opportunities for a pocket park. “They started digging in June 2021, and the other day I looked over the fence and saw a homeless man living in the development. We were hopeful of what the future could bring to the neighborhood. It was a hopeful time.”

Every week this parasite makes news by simply being a hack. Yet you can’t get organized to remove her! So why complain. Until you get organized you’re just wasting space. Everyone knows she is nothing more than a hack and not even a savvy one. For every negative post why not gather signatures and see if you can beat the developers and kick her to the curb or kennel which ever is easier

The problem with the progressives…….are the outcomes they produce.

Dingbat ideas that challenge common sense and make a few people with pink hair feel good.

Why is it that some people can so easily see through the lies of the City Councilmembers, while others just continue to believe what they so bad want to hear. I am proud to say that I could see through this fraudster from Day One. Come election time, when Sepi is promising (and likely) delivering on some form of Marxist rent control, all these people will forget about the broken park promises, and they will be voting for her. Again.

I’m sure Shyne will spin this into her being the victim. We all know she is a lair, back stabber and user.

Its a little difficult to understand the paragraph re Ron Emmons. “He, his” referring to the speaker or Mr Emmons. Same in other cases.

Haha I’m laughing so hard at the losers that voted for these 2 charlatans that ruin communities and got exactly what they deserved with their votes. Come meet me for lunch so I can laugh right in front of you. Thanks for destroying our community with your bad “progressive” judgement.

I know I didn’t vote for her, but apparently lots of people did. Perhaps you voted for her? Regardless, either we are living amongst very stupid gullible people, (which I don’t believe), or we are living amongst people who knowingly vote for this kind of obvious fraudster because the fraudster will deliver on things more important to them. For example delivering on Marxist style rent control, where private property rights are not respected. So which is it. It has to be one or the other.

You saved me a lunch because we know how you voted. You still driving around alone in your car with your mask on? How many times have you gotten Covid with all of those jabs? Remember these same people told you the vaccine “Stops Covid” . The only person full of disdain is the person that keeps voting for hateful liars all full of cheery slogans like DEI because they have total disdain for themselves. Just a fair warning, anytime someone says they are for DEI, it means they are really FOS and just another hateful lying Sepi Shyne or… Read more »

If Sepi Shyne received 2300 votes, which appeared unthinkable, and one subtracts 1600 votes from Flores Park that leaves 700.

Shyne then professes the park to be a “Done Deal” something she had no authority to claim as an independent voice, making her a liability to City Hall and beyond.

At the 2020 planting, it was naive to think that a person nobody’s ever heard of and had no past history of community advocacy could qualify for anyone’s vote. Even if they offered empty promises. Thanks 2020 Weho voters!

It appears that Sepi Shyne not only scammed the local residents of Flores but also Cathy Blaivas & Stephanie Harker leading advocates for Protect Plummer Park capitalizing on their 10 year efforts. Cruder than crude, reprehensible and possibly illegal.

These two fabulous ladies in WeHo are showing us how genuine community service is done: tackling real resident needs, doing thankless work, and minus the stink of self-aggrandizing faux activism that rules city hall. Let’s take notes, folks!
