Want to own a cannabis consumption lounge in West Hollywood?
Green Life Business Group Inc. is hawking a coveted license and “campus” that offers sales and consumption of cannabis, food and alcohol for a mere $3 million.
The location includes a 4,000-square-foot restaurant/bar with a 1,000-square-foot patio, a 3,000-square-foot edibles cafe with cannabis cocktails, and a 3,000-square-foot smoking lounge with its own 1,000-square-foot patio.
Where? That, apparently, is confidential.
Those interested in learning more must sign an NDA/waiver and provide proof of financials before any other detailed information is released.
West Hollywood currently has two operating consumption lounges: The Woods and The ArtistTree.
Two more are reportedly in progress: PleasureMed and an unnamed lounge across the street.
Lowell Cafe on La Brea — the city’s first consumption lounge, which has been bought, sold, closed and re-opened several times since 2019 — is currently shuttered.
The current owner of the mystery location is prepared to offer guidance throughout the process, from application navigation to ongoing marketing and operational support — including obtaining a liquor license for the property. However, the new owner must continue with the construction and buildout process.
West Hollywood is considered a prime location for consumption lounges, thanks to its limited licensed market, high foot traffic due to its status as a tourist destination and entertainment hub, and the rapidly growing cannabis industry.
The opportunity comes with a 10-year lease agreement for the new buyer, and the location has been approved for Cannabis Zoning.
Green Life Business Group, Inc. is managing the sale, and those interested can reach out to Eric Espinoza at (858) 245-6324 or [email protected].
Flaming Saddles???
thats my guess, fits the footprint.
I guess I’m woefully ignorant on this, but how does WeHo compare to other LA cities with cannabis shops? How common are they in other areas? I have connected our increase in crime to the opening of these shops but maybe I’m wrong.
Actually they have lowered crime since being able to buy it legally means we don’t have to break the law to buy it. It means no criminally linked supply chain and sketchy dealers. The growing and distribution is very regulated so its safer too. You know exactly what you are buying. Marijuana use also is not more likely to make someone take criminal actions. It is akin to alcohol in its addiction levels and effects. Actually the reason it was illegal in the first place has a lot to do with greed and racism and a power vacuum caused by… Read more »
You seem unusually “pro pot” so I’m still not sure I’m getting the answer I was looking for. Is it possible, or even likely, that a more criminal element is making its way into WeHo drawn here by the availability of cannabis, or can they just as easily get it closer to their homes? I’m curious if WeHo has more pot shops than most other places in LA, and if the increase in crime can be connected to that. I’m talking about crimes in general, not what you’re saying about pot. In other words, do people come to WeHo to… Read more »
This is likely, look at the cookies drama last year
I guess I was expecting more input on this than I am getting.
