5.1 magnitude earthquake rattles Southern California

A 5.1 magnitude earthquake shook Ventura County in Southern California on Sunday afternoon, at a time when the region is also preparing for Hurricane Hilary.

The earthquake occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m., with its epicenter near the city of Ojai, as reported by the USGS. It was accompanied by several aftershocks, the most powerful of which exceeded a magnitude of 3.0.

As of now, there have been no reports of injuries or damage resulting from the quake. However, residents across L.A. County and Riverside County have reported feeling the tremors.
