The first cannabis consumption lounge in the U.S. is flying high once again.
More than three years after it closed, the buzzy lounge at 1201 La Brea in West Hollywood is back from the dead under the name Original Cannabis Cafe. The revived venue held a soft re-opening on Tuesday.
It originally opened in September 2019 as Lowell Cafe. When when all non-essential businesses were shut down at the beginning of the COVID pandemic the following March, the lounge closed its doors and never re-opened.
In August 2022, High Times, the company behind High Times magazine, announced they had assumed ownership of the building and would restart the business.
But that never happened, and High Times was served with an eviction notice this past May.
The Original Cannabis Cafe announced its comeback two weeks ago on social media, and it’s now open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily for customers 21 years and older.

It’s weird because I walk past there daily and despite there being a handful of cars in the lot it doesn’t seem to be open.
Also this place was accused of giving people herpes before they closed, Google it if you don’t believe me, so everyone should be cautious before smoking from their bongs.
this is not wehoville and we dont attach links.
