West Hollywood is now home to a unique new bar, Holy Water, co-founded by celebrities Woody Harrelson, Bill Maher, and John McEnroe. The establishment is located at 8275 Santa Monica Boulevard, adjacent to The Woods, the cannabis shop and consumption lounge also owned by the trio.
Designed by West Hollywood’s Schoos Design, Holy Water features a distinctive décor with lighting baskets suspended from the ceiling, symbolizing global gathering cultures. The interior showcases reclaimed barnwood siding, resembling an old apothecary chest, and the bar back boasts curved shelving displaying a variety of organic spirits.
This intimate and romantically lit space includes wrap-around bar seating, high-top tables, and two cozy booths. A hidden hallway leads to a private room with high ceilings, a fireplace, and seating for up to 30 guests, offering an exclusive experience.
The bar’s menu offers handcrafted cocktails priced at $16 each, including the ‘Glass Half Full,’ ‘Pura Amour,’ ‘Screaming Viking,’ ‘Autumn Drives,’ ‘Poire Royale,’ and their signature ‘Holy Water.’ The selection extends to mocktails, wines, and beers, catering to a wide range of tastes.
Holy Water operates from Wednesday to Sunday, with opening hours from 5:30 PM to 11 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays, until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, and closing again at 11 PM on Sundays. They also offer a Happy Hour from 5:30 PM to 7 PM.
