Tiffany Haddish was detained under suspicion of DUI early Friday morning, as reported by the Beverly Hills Police Department.
Officers found the comic actress, who rose to fame for her role in “Girls Trip,” unconscious around 5:45 a.m. inside a vehicle with the engine running, leading to her arrest. Hours earlier, Haddish had performed at The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood during the venue’s 43rd annual community Thanksgiving dinner event.
Her reps have not yet released a statement, although they’ve likely have one on file that would work with a few tweaks: The actress was apprehended for DUI last year after being found passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle in Peachtree City, Ga.
Haddish later joked with Jimmy Fallon about that incident, saying she’d been praying for a good man, only to be sent four in uniform.
Lock her up!!! She thinks she is above the law.
Glad she didn’t kill anyone. She should be jailed for threatening the lives of other drivers and pedestrians.
YES she should be responsible for her actions especially if they endanger others like DUI ❗ Attention should be given to the fact that alcohol is heavily promoted by society as a quick fix for just about every kind of emotional problem possible. Those in power benefit greatly from the suppressive effects of alcohol & drugs because, many of those suppressed “emotional problems” are directly caused by the inequities that have enabled capitalist elites to rise to the positions of power they now occupy.

I would add this is her second D.U.I. in about a year. She is a danger to society. Why do we not take drunk driving seriously? She is also a supporter of the current dictator of Eritrea, who has imprisoned 10,000 political prisoners. Why is she beloved? Why hasn’t she been cancelled? Is she really that funny that we overlook her nearly killing innocent people?
Too bad there are no statistics about how many DUIs have taken place just outside Weho’s borders, when the person was getting drunk inside Weho, the enabler City. If it were up to me, drunk drivers would be charged with “attempted murder”, and hopefully jailed for life. This horrible woman jokes about it. And weho continues to ply thousand with cocktails daily, with their “look the other way” policy.

I’m glad you’re amused by drunk drivers. Weho has the highest per capita number of liquor licenses in the state of California, maybe in the entire country. The city council here has always done whatever they can to promote and approve any liquor license. Good that this gives you a nice big laugh.

It’s not a surprise to me. Remember, this is the person who praised Will Smith’s violent act on the Academy Awards because she said she was glad to see you someone “standing up for his woman”. Some women get moist when they see men being violent. That’s why Trump has so many female supporters. Toxic masculinity thrives with horny women’s support.
I brought this very issue up with a Feminist Professor I had for one of my diversity courses. She pointed out that she is very aware of the problem of women provocateurs in the role of male violence especially when it comes to poor and marginalized groups of men. The problem may likely stem from an angry subconscious response from women for having been shut out significant positions of power by society, leaving the provocateur role as the ONLY real option.
Female perpetrators tend to abuse their children and family rather than strangers, and use social/institutional violence rather than physical violence. Same evil, different presentation. The myth that men are inherently violent is an incredibly useful tool to those that seek to fracture and weaken our society. Feminist movements were co-opted a long time ago, even Gloria Steinem was a CIA asset. Maybe these women are just tired of all the soy boys that they have to deal with today. Even ordinary masculinity today is considered toxic.
First the idea that soy effects men’s testosterone levels or increases estrogen levels in men is a completely unsubstantiated myth likely put out by cattle ranchers.
