Micky’s hits the market for $14M

A listing for Micky’s — described as “one of West Hollywood’s most iconic and longest-running” nightclubs — has appeared on the realty website brandonmichaelsgroup.com.

Asking price for the 9,200-square-foot building at 8855 Santa Monica Boulevard is $14 million — about $1,522 per square foot. It sits on a 4,406-square-foot lot in the heart of WeHo’s Rainbow District, right next to the beloved gay market Block Party.

“The sale can include its operating business, with all tangible and intangible assets, and trophy West Hollywood real estate, or can be purchased on a sale-leaseback basis for the purchase of the underlying real estate only. Seller financing is available at below market rate and terms.”

Interested parties can visit the listing or contact the seller at (818) 212-2794.

News of the listing follows several high-profile business transfers in the district, including The Abbey, Revolver and St. Felix.

A mile stone is after my manage for years. There is no longer a young draw. Mickys panned their most loal customers for being drunk. Now how did this happen?

I am sure the quick sale of the Abbey drove this listing. I hope the buyer is similar the Abbey buyer, connected to weho and looking to own for many years. New blood will keep weho strong.

As long as others are getting in, it’s all good. That’s all we’ve seen with these locations, they’re just flipped from one person to another, not put out of business.

More of cashing out rather than getting out. The doom and gloom is ridiculous. If I owned a business and could get $15 million to retire and invest elsewhere, I would.

100%. No parking. Business hoops to jump through. I agree, I would leave.

A couple of the big clubs have turned over, yes…many more businesses sit empty. More than we’ve ever had. Hardly time to do a happy dance.
