It’s so obvious – If you want to keep seeing the same problems, elect the same career politicians. Shyne is a hard pass, but would be great to see some normal community members like Savage in office. It may even encourage more people to get involved in the future.

The ONLY candidate in this race with the courage to oppose the biggest medical scandal and suppression of civil liberties ever witnessed in our lifetimes is Dr. Alex Balekian.

LOL big time ❗ 🤣 There was NO Medical Scandal just Science based Medicine and, our Civil Liberties haven’t been greater. A right-wing antivaxx conspiracy nut hardly has a chance of getting elected in any major CA city. 👏🏽

Perhaps Sepi Syne should consider standing her resume next to Mike Feuer. Not a chance she could qualify in any way unless she has an inside track to all the Persian communities in LA. Could it be a possibility after she snookered the residents on Flores with unfulfilled promises?

Is WEHOOnline planning to organize a debate featuring the contenders? I’m eager to see their discussion to better understand their positions, as well as how well they can express themselves in a public setting.

Instead of voting that we won’t have a vice-mayor how about we vote that if a sitting mayor seeks higher office during thier term, they must resign?

I won’t be voting for any defund the sheriff’s department during a crime wave candidate. I also won’t be supporting any candidate that is financed by a corrupt union which is forcing many family owned businesses in Weho to close their doors.

It is unconscionable that that foul, egomaniacal, self-serving, abusive, vindictive, tone-deaf, incompetent, vicious, dismissive, corrupt, greedy, vile fraud Shyne would fancy herself fit for ANY office, least of all the US Congress. She should be RECALLED from the West Hollywood City Council and shone the door to GTFO of our City and let an actually qualified civil servant serve the office instead. Citizens of the City of West Hollywood who have been harmed or ignored by her disastrous tenure in office should be vigorously supporting her opponents. Let your ire be known in ways that count; get OUT and STAY… Read more »

Sepi Shyne’s five-minute political career has been spent exploiting the residents of West Hollywood as her personal political Petri dish. She uses differences to foster divisiveness rather than unity. She hoodwinked us with some empty rhetoric about West Hollywood needing change—from what to what? Shyne bullies those who dare disagree with her toxic ideological extremism and labels anyone who does disagree as a hater; a sad and intellectually lazy argument. She has demonstrated over and over that she will represent and “hear” only those who agree with her. She fails to engage in civilized discourse and is afraid of defending her stances in direct debate. One… Read more »

Both are vanity candidates attempting to pad their resumes or pretend that they’re doing something with their lives. I shudder at the thought of Sepi Shyne making decisions on the behalf of any community. Her prejudices and biases have hurt residents of West Hollywood in too many ways to count.

We’ve already tried the inexperienced celebrity wannabe politician thing. It never works out. We’ve also tried the inexperienced bully nutcase thing, and have learned that doesn’t work out either. The voters of weho already rejected Boy Meets Reality Check, let’s hope they reject the proven bully too.
