Chabad Of WeHo West hosted a community Hanukkah celebration at the Beverly Center last Monday evening. The event included a Menorah Lighting attended by West Hollywood Councilmembers John Heilman and Lauren Meister. Activities featured performances by Jason Mesches and the EI Band, along with food offerings such as latkes and donuts, and a hot chocolate and cappuccino bar. Entertainment also included magic by Adam Wylie, Chanukah crafts, and prizes. Complimentary Hanukkah menorahs and candles were provided to attendees.

Rabbi Yossi Dalfin of Chabad Of WeHo West commented on the significance of the Hanukkah lights and their symbolism in promoting goodness and kindness: “The Lubavitcher Rebbe teaches us a pertinent lesson we can learn from the Hanukkah lights: ‘A little light dispels much darkness.’ By lighting the Menorah and adding spiritual light through acts of goodness and kindness, we will certainly bring the world to a better, brighter place and usher in the time of Moshiach!”

Chabad Of WeHo West is active in the community, offering Jewish education, outreach, and social service programs for individuals and families of various ages, backgrounds, and affiliations. For more information, contact (310) 594 – 9441 or follow their Instagram account @Chabadwehowest.
