Roosterfish will keep PUMP’s olive trees

PUMP may be gone but its trees are here to stay.

Roosterfish, the new restaurant moving into the space formerly occupied by Lisa Vanderpump’s famous establishment, is keeping the distinctive olive trees in the outdoor patio area, owner Mario Vollera told TMZ.

The trees were apparently integral to the sale negotiations.

PUMP closed this past summer. Roosterfish is set to open this year.

Love those olive trees. I can’t imagine not keeping them. I am sure Lisa spent a fortune on those mature olive trees.

To answer the question posed by your avatar name, ask John Erickson and Chelsea Byers who seem to favor concrete over trees. They are the founding members of Progressives Against Trees.

You do know this isn’t the original gay bar Roosterfish, right? Just the name. Straight people bought the historic Venice venue and turned it into a forgettable upscale straight bar for the wealthy local tech industry types. This will be more of that, not the real Roosterfish

Thankfully. The landlord is smart to want to keep them and any business that would want to take them out needs to get their head examined. Those trees add unparalleled ambience that you can’t find easily within the city.

Excellent, the more trees the better.
