Why don’t all you whiners hire bodyguards to protect you instead of expecting the state to keep you safe. Pay for your own protection instead of demanding the taxpayers do it. Or go back home to your mama. Weho already has more than enough useless cops, hiring more isn’t going to solve anything.

These crimes all occurred within one block of hot hip successful expensive relatively new restaurants. The sheriff needs to begin doing foot patrols between 9pm and 2AM along the blocks near Drakes, Uchi, Craig’s, and other hot spots. It would appear, thieves are targeting those late customers returning to their parked cars.

CY wrote on here last week when responding to one of my comments, “…our great DA George Gascon.” And he was being serious. That is how far removed from reality many of the “progressives” are.

My building had 2 break-ins recently. This years DA election will be a referendum of Gascon’s failed progressive policies.

There will likely also be ballot measures to change how the $950 limit in Prop 47 is calculated for a Felony, (Again Gascon sponsored this bill 10 years ago).

I hope the ALPR’s get to a point, where AI can detect if a plate is missing, does the plate match the make/model/color of the registered vehicle. Is the plate or car reported stolen, registration expired, uninsured. So the sheriff can intercept anyone coming here to pray on our community.

It seems that more detailed descriptions of the robbers and of just what happened would be available.
