Law enforcement agencies in West Hollywood had their hands full Sunday, starting with a suspicious package that deputies feared was an explosive device.
The incident occurred around noon at the brand-new Louis Vuitton store, located at 8800 Melrose Ave. near North Robertson Boulevard. Sheriffs cordoned off the area and closed the roads; some businesses were even evacuated.
Beverly Hills Police and the L.A. Fire Department’s hazmat team both came to the scene to assist. The sheriffs’ tactical bomb technicians declared the area safe around 2 p.m.

Around 9 p.m. Sunday night, police were dispatched to Sunset Boulevard and Kings Road after a 9-1-1 caller reported a hit-and-run involving a Jeep and a gray Ford truck.
Less than an hour later, authorities were alerted to a man who had allegedly vandalized the Peppermint Club with a crowbar. They later released details about the suspect, describing him as a six-foot-tall 40-year-old Latino man in black jeans and a black jacket.

It’s not as bad as the time when a friend of mine just got a new car🚗 and, I thought some road flairs & a Garmin GPS would make a nice gift🎁. I got everything all gift wrapped together and got ready to drop it off for my friend at work in the Wilshire Federal Building. To my surprise security🐷 was jumping all over me including a dog🐕🦺 that was convinced that I had something dangerous.
