Who’s ready for more Cookies?

The popular cannabis dispensary — which drew the ire of its West Hollywood neighbors and the Sheriff’s Department — is back in a new location on Melrose Avenue.

The venue celebrated a grand opening Saturday at its new spot, 7569 Melrose Ave., down the road from its former location at Melrose and Kings Road.

The original Cookies closed Nov. 7 after years of complaints and a concerted effort by the neighborhood to force the venue to get a handle on its clientele, who were accused of loitering and smoking cannabis in the nearby residential areas.

“It would be in everyone’s best interest if they relocated,” said Public Safety Commission Chairman Tod Hallman in 2021.

They probably paid off one of the political hacks running this city. Praying to the sky gods that is shut down again ASAP.

What city? City of LA? Cause that’s where it’s moving to. (PS, the previous location was also in LA City)

Cookies should crumble. The Artist Tree and Zen don’t bring this much trouble to the neighborhood.

Why is the new location better? There is no information here. What about the neighbors at Kings Road and Melrose; what do they think?

It’s nice and quiet now at Kings and Melrose. The new location is much more appropriate given that area’s post-Memorial Day Weekend 2020 composition. Makes much more sense. Just don’t go east of Fairfax ever again.

This is the worst news I’ve heard all week. I feel for those neighbors!
